a million mistakes but i think it'd be kinder if i spare you. oi.
an idea that wouldnt leave me after looking at [link] but with of course my own intentions.
i really like the concept. its quite a secular (non-christian religious) view, placing the demon and angel as equals, both out to get your soul. the "demon" is more of a gypsy stereotype of stealing children with her bag, except its souls. the "angel" is much more modern-day ish (i just realized she doesnt really have clothes on XD go me) i guess because there isnt any set "look" established by previous interpretations as culturally, you may obviously notice, angels and demons do not get along. in the peice she is also very hyprocritcal, pretending to be upright while doing the same thing as the demon. This hyprocracy quality paints the Christian religion heavily to the secular.
so, personally, ive been finding the Christian Religion intimidating. I believe in love, and connecting to Being, but i find that the set human organization of "Christianty" (Jesus didnt say I AM CHRISTIANTY you know) just does not suffice or do it justice. i feel like im trying to grow and protect an ego based on more human ideas when i go to church. like, i dont want to be lectured anymore. i'd rather have a conversation. suuupeeer laaame
fun fact: i only changed the length of the angel's hair in the process from mind to paper!
You know, even as a christian this doesn't bother me. In fact, technically angels and demons are the same thing. So yeah. And, I think I get what you mean by the hypocracy. Were really all the same, even though some religious people do act like they're better. (is that kinda what you were saying? X3 *not too good at reading in to things*)

hehe, yeah! angels and demons are the same creatures. i always thought it was funny that people didnt know such. i was raised Christian, and, well, i guess ive just had to get more personal with God instead of Church. and yes, we are all the same. =] i always felt ashamed, because i didnt know what to tell people when it came to hypocritical situations theyve seen or been through. this concept was me feeling a fear of organized religion, and being able to understand what a secular person might feel when only informed culturally.
When is enough enough... What difference does it make when popular artist vent vent vent and support a site that tolerates deviant behaviour. HA! no wonder its all in a name.
